Electrical Safety

Residents should not overload plug sockets or use unsafe electrical appliances. Only CE-marked appliances are permitted in studios. Extension leads with surge protection may be used but trailing leads should never be placed under carpets or in doorways. Any concerns about electrical safety, including damaged sockets or appliances, should be reported to the accommodation team immediately.
