Bins and Recycling at Waterside Court
Waste and recycling bins are located in designated areas of the building and residents should ask reception to confirm the locations for their floor. Recyclable materials including paper, cardboard, glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles and tubs, metal tins and cans, and cartons should be placed in the recycling bin. General waste including food-soiled packaging and hygiene products should go in the general waste bin. Chester also operates a food waste collection service. Electrical items and large household goods must be taken to a recycling centre and must not be placed in the standard bins. Residents should empty and replace the liner in communal kitchen bins when full and must take bin bags directly to the external bins rather than leaving them in corridors. Leaving items outside designated bin areas is a criminal offence and residents may be charged for the cost of removal.
