Maintenance Responsibilities

Cloud Student Homes is responsible for structural repairs, heating and hot water systems, electrical installations, plumbing, appliances provided as part of the tenancy, communal areas including kitchens and corridors, fire safety equipment, and pest control where infestations are not caused by resident behaviour. Residents are responsible for keeping their room clean and free from damage, reporting issues promptly, and replacing personal items such as bedside lamp bulbs. Damage caused by misuse, neglect or accidents within a room may result in repair costs being deducted from the deposit or charged directly. Residents are also expected to keep communal areas tidy after use and to report any accidental damage promptly.
