Using Electronics in your home

Please do not overload your sockets with multiple plugs and extension cables – if you do this then you will cause the fuses to trip in your cluster, and this will stop ALL electricity in your flat, until this can be resolved - not only will it cause disruption to you, but this can also affect your flatmates

When buying appliances only use approved CE marked appliances (approved by EU Safety Standards) – as any other items will have to be removed, as they are not safe in the building.

Certain items are not permitted in your Accommodation due to Health and Safety requirements, they include Deep Fat Fryers and Rice Cookers. Any electrical items brought to the property should be PAT tested
